Floral wall craft with paper plates and milk jug!

MATERIALS USED

Paper plates - 3

Empty milk jug or any other plastic can

Cardboard (I used pizza tray cardboard - round shaped)

Paints

Glue gun

Scissor

 

METHOD

First draw a round (size of a tumbler) at the center of the paper plate and cut the sides like a flower with thin sharp-edged petals. Do the same for all three plates.

For a thick paper plate, we can open each petals into two layers. the upper layer is a normal paper which bends to give a "bud" shape.

Then glue the plates one over another, and paint with your favorite color.

Flower part is over. Now, for the decoration part, paint the cardboard with a suitable background color.

Then, cut the milk jug into many small leaves and glue the leaves over the whole sides of the cardboard. Paint the leaves with simple green or with the colors of a peacock feather (as like in fig). If want, decorate with color stones and glitter (optional).

Finally, glue the flower at the center of the cardboard.

That's all... A beautiful floral wall craft is ready to hang. We can use push pins or double tape to hang the craft on wall.

DIY: Balloon bowl with gram dhal!

This is a very easy craft to make and all we need for this craft is only three things. Instead of using gram dhal, we can use any dhals or seeds available.

MATERIALS USED

Gram dhal
Balloon
Glue

METHOD

Inflate the balloon to an approximate size, and clip it with any weight object.

Apply glue to the top half of the balloon with hand or sponge, then sprinkle gram dhal all over it. If you want to sprinkle the seeds properly, hold the balloon in hand and do it so.

Let the balloon to dry for 2-3 hours and add another coat of glue and dhal, until you achieve a thick seed-coat. Finally let it dry for 12 hours until the glue get dried completely.

Then, keep the balloon in hand, and pop it with a needle. Remove the balloon pieces and cut the irregular extra edges of the bowl.

Now, a beautiful gram dhal bowl is ready, and we can use this to organize fruits or anything as you like!

Paper plate tree craft!

I just thought to make a different craft, so I decided to make a paper tree. With a blind idea, I started making this craft. After completing this, I saw it look really beautiful...!

MATERIALS USED

Big paper plates - 5

Small ice-cream plate - 1

Tissue paper holder

Paints

Glue, glue-gun

Glitter

 

 

DESCRIPTION

First, cut the paper plates in flower shape, as show in figure, with 5 different sizes from larger to smaller. Keep the unwanted pieces cut from the plates separately.

Cut the tissue holder with appropriate length to make the stem part. Fold the lengthy-leaves of the plates towards the inner side. For making the lower part of the tree, fix the tissue holder at the center of the larger-leafed plate (as like in figure) with hot glue gun. Fix the other end of the tissue holder on to the center of the ice-cream plate.

Repeat the same for fixing all the plates, one by one from lower to higher (larger to smaller) with tissue holder in between.

For making the top part of the tree, cut the unwanted pieces into long-thin leaves, and stick them around a tissue holder (app 10 cm length) from bottom to top, covering all the sides. Fix this leaf-covered tissue holder at the center of the topmost smaller plate using glue gun.

Now, tree-making is over. Paint the tree with the suitable colors of your choice and if want, apply glue over the leaves and sprinkle glitters and confetti.

That's all... Our tree craft is done. This is very easy to make, cut the plates, fix with tissue holder one by one, and finally paint the leaves.

DIY pen (spoon or brush) holder with salt tin and woolen thread!

MATERIALS USED

Salt tin or any other thin long bottle

Parcel bubble cover

Thick woolen bundle

Paint

Scissor

Glue or glue gun

 

DESCRIPTION

First, remove the wrapper and the cap of the salt tin, and cut out the extra length of the tin.

Apply a little glue at the bottom side, and wrap-up the woolen thread tightly and closely from bottom to top. After fully wrapped, cut out the remaining thread and stick the thread edge with the tin.

Then, cut the bubble cover with the shapes like flower, square, diamond, round, etc (as you like) and stick them on the sides of pen holder, and paint with suitable color.

If you want any more decoration, apply glue and sprinkle glitter or stick the beads over the sides.

That's all... Within few minutes, it is possible to make this useful craft with the unwanted materials like bubble cover, salt tin, etc. We can use this holder as either pen holder or spoon or brush holder.

Flower vase made with plastic, sugar, and glitter!

This flower vase is very simple, and when we sprinkle sugar-glitter mixture on flowers... WOW !!! we can't simply express the twinkling beauty of flowers. 

Its true, we can make these flowers for decorating party table. 

MATERIALS USED

Waste plastic can

Paint

Glitter

Scissor

Sugar

Glue

wire or cure pipes

DESCRIPTION

First, draw flower shapes on the plastic can and cut them separately. Then put holes at the center of flowers and insert either wire or cure pipes ie., pipe cleaner.

Paint the flowers and let them dry for some time.

Now, mix the sugar and glitter together, and keep it in a bowl. Then apply glue over the flower petals and sprinkle sugar glitter mixture as like a thick coat on them without space. We can also dip the flowers into the mixture directly, rather than sprinkling.

Finally, insert the flowers into a bottle (vase) decorated with the things like confettis, glitters etc (or as you like).

A beautiful flower vase is ready now...!

Easy pen (spoon or brush) holder with salt tin and bubble cover!

Materials used

Salt bottle (we can use any kind of plastic bottles, I used the salt tin.)

Bubble cover

Paint

Glue gun

Cure pipes, confetti (optional, for decoration purposes)

Method

Take a salt bottle (without cap or top), and surround it with bubble cover and apply glue to fix the cover with the bottle.

After that, paint the bubbles with various colors, and let it dry for sometime.

Finally decorate with confettis, glitter or with anything else of your own choice. Round the ribbon on the top of the bottle and glue it with hot glue gun, it will hide the glued edges of the cover.

Thats all... A simple and beautiful pen stand is ready! We can also use that craft as spoon or brush holder.

Waste water bottle flower vase!

This flower vase is very easy to make, we can reuse the plastic water bottles beautifully. All we need is some bottles, glue gun, and paints.

Materials used:

 Empty bottles

Scissor

Dry sticks

Glue gun

Paints

Method:

First cut the bottle into two half, as shown in picture. For making flower cut the upper part into 5-6 petals. Bend the petals downwards to get a good shape.

For making center bud, cut another bottle as above and again cut and remove the neck portion of its upperpart. Now we have the upperpart looks like a funnel without neck. Now, cut the funnel in cross section to make it flat and with that, cut again the flat shape into 8-9 petals and fold and roll up to get a bud shape.

Show the petals in candlelight so that the petals can shrink and bend slightly. Then, apply glue on the bottom of the bud and on the inner side of the neck cap, then insert the bud into the flower neck part.

Paint the flower petals with the color of your choice.

After the paints get dried, insert the flower onto the tip of the dry stick, and apply glue to fix the stick and flower properly.

Cut the remaining lower part of the bottle in leaf shapes, then paint in green color and glue with the stem. Do as many as needed, hold them together and insert into the long white color plastic bottle (decorate the vase as you wish) filled with clay or sand.

Bubble cover Rangoli cardboard wall craft!

This craft is very easy to make. All we want is mainly two things: one is bubble cover and another thing is any unused somewhat large sized parcel cover cardboard.

Usually if we get bubble cover anywhere, atonce we will start pressing each bubbles and make them blow (my favourite too... :-) ). But, we can do many more good crafts using bubble cover (polythene). One of those crafts is Bubble cover Rangoli cardboard wall craft. Now read the tutorial of this craft!

Materials used:

Polythene bubble cover (I used the parcel cover for my craft)

Cardboard (I used the pizza cover)

Paint

Duck tape or cellophane tape

Glitter, Confetti, pipe cleaner (optional)

Description:

Cut the cardboard with square shape (or round) and wrap the bubble paper over one full side of the cardboard, and the edges should be glued and taped with duck tape or normal cellophane tape.

Then, start painting a rangoli (as shown in picture) from the middle and after completing a cute rangoli, paint the border with a contrast color (eg, black) and decorate with glitter and confettis.(Note: Painting a rangoli on a bubble cover is very easy as the bubbles act as dotted pattern.)

After paint get dried completely, use double tape or push pin to hang the cardboard art on the wall.

Groundnut shell flower vase!

This is a very easy craft to make it and very beautiful to see. Usually we will take out the groundnut from the shell and throw out the shell to trash bin. We can make many useful and beautiful crafts from ground nut shells. Here, we can see the making tutorial of Groundnut shell flower vase!

Materials used

Ground nut shells
Paints
Barbeque sticks
Glitter (optional)
Glue, Glue gun

Description

Take a barbeque stick and glue the shells on the tip of the stick, like flower petals.

Paint the petals with bright color (to hide the original shell color). After paint get dried, apply glue over the petals and sprinkle glitter.

Color the stick with green paint, and use the small size shells as leaves.

For making "vase", paint and decorate the tissue paper holder, and fill it partially with clay.

Do flowers as many as needed and insert them into the tissue holder.

Cardboard heartin wall craft!

Materials used

Cardboard like pizza cover
Paints
Glitter
Glue
Color stones

Procedure

First, cut the cardboard to a desired shape and paint with a background color.

Draw a heartin outline on the cardboard and glue the color stones on the line.

Inside the heartin, apply glue and sprinkle glitter without space simply or you can decorate as of your own.

Glue the plastic beads over the whole edge of the cardboard, which acts border to that art.

Finally, use double tape or push pin and hang the wall craft on your wall.
