WELCOME board craft with tea extract, salt, rangoli powder and waste plastic can!

I have made this craft with tea extract which is not good for making tea. I first thought to use it as a compost for pot plants. But after that I got an idea to make a craft with that.
Click here to visit my tutorial video or this craft!

Materials used:

Cardboard
Plastic can like milk jug
Tea extract
Rangoli powder
Salt
Glitter
Scissor
Glue, Glue gun
Confetti
Pipe cleaner or cure pipes

Description:

First paint the cardboard with a background color (white).
Draw circles on the milk jug with two sizes 2.5inches and 1.5 inches. Cut the milk jug through the circles and keep separately.
Draw flower shapes on the circles and cut the flower petals.
Glue the smaller flower over the larger one and fix a confetti at its center. Do flowers as such as many as needed.
After the paint get dried completely, draw two rectangular outlines on the cardboard with 1 inch difference.
Now, it looks like, the cardboard has three sections. one is the outer border, the second one is the space between two lines and last one is the centre. Add glue and fix the pipe cleaner over the lines.
Apply glue over the whole part of the center portion and sprinkle the tea extract densely. Before the glue get dried, use the finger and write the word "WELCOME" with your own style.
Now the tea extract over the letters gets removed and the letters will appear bright. Apply glue on the letters and sprinkle the salt + glitter mixture.
For decorating the middle portion, apply glue for the whole part, and sprinkle the rangoli powder + glitter mix densely without any gap.
For the outer border, fix the plastic flowers one by one as a line using hot glue gun.
Finally, decorate with confetti, wherever needed.
That's all... the welcome craft is ready to hang, and, hang the board on the wall over the front door with using push pins or double tape.

Calendar paper floral wall craft with groundnut shells, pista shells and curry leaves sticks!

Materials used:

Waste calendar
Pizza cover
Ground nut shells
Pista shells
Curry leaves sticks
Glue or Glue gun
Paints
Scissor

Description:

Tear a full sheet from the calendar and keep aside. Cut the pizza cover cardboard to a desired shape.
Wrap up the calendar paper over the cardboard for one whole side and glue the remaining paper over the other side.
Paint the paper with black color, thick background colors will hide the letters in the paper.
Glue the curry sticks like plant stem, and ground nut shells like flowers. We can either glue pista shells or single seeded small ground nut shells for leaves.
Paint the flowers and leaves with the colors of your choice and let them dry completely.
For root part, we can glue with either beach soil or color stones, both will look good for this craft.
Finally using double tape or push pins, hang or stick the craft on the wall.
That's all... A simple and cute wall craft is ready with the recycle materials. This craft is very apt for children.

Floral wall craft with paper plates and milk jug!

MATERIALS USED

Paper plates - 3

Empty milk jug or any other plastic can

Cardboard (I used pizza tray cardboard - round shaped)

Paints

Glue gun

Scissor

METHOD

First draw a round (size of a tumbler) at the center of the paper plate and cut the sides like a flower with thin sharp-edged petals. Do the same for all three plates.
Click here to visit my tutorial video!

For a thick paper plate, we can open each petals into two layers. the upper layer is a normal paper which bends to give a "bud" shape.

Then glue the plates one over another, and paint with your favorite color.

Flower part is over. Now, for the decoration part, paint the cardboard with a suitable background color.

Then, cut the milk jug into many small leaves and glue the leaves over the whole sides of the cardboard. Paint the leaves with simple green or with the colors of a peacock feather (as like in fig). If want, decorate with color stones and glitter (optional).

Finally, glue the flower at the center of the cardboard.

That's all... A beautiful floral wall craft is ready to hang. We can use push pins or double tape to hang the craft on wall.

Try this craft at your home and comment your feedbacks. Thank you...!!!

Beautiful flower vase with cardboard flowers!

Materials used

Parcel cardboard box (like toy cover, pizza cover, etc)
Paints
Dry sticks
Plastic can or bottle (unwanted)
Scissor
Glue or glue gun

Method

Draw flowers on the cardboard and cut them out.
Keep your index finger at the center of the flower and press it downwards, now the flat flower becomes convex shape. But the petals are still very stiff, so for making it bend (like real flower), keep a chop stick or a tooth pick right below the open edge of the petal and roll it downwards over the stick. Now the petals got its right shape.

Then, put a hole at the center of the flower and insert the dry stick into it and apply glue for the strong holding. If the stem stretches outwards, hide it by fixing a color stone, or beads over it or even fixing an earwax bud on it is a good idea.

Paint the flower with the appropriate color of your choice. For making leaves, draw leaves shape on a plastic can or bottle, cut and paint them with green color, and after get dried completely, fix the leaves on the stem, giving space to one another.

Now repeat the same procedure (5-6 stems) to make a good flower vase. For making "vase", fill a glass bottle with clay and decorate with color stones (if you want). Insert the stems into the bottle and arrange them properly.

Thats all... A very beautiful flower vase is ready! Try this at your home and give your feedbacks in the "COMMENT" box given below.
